There are of course many screen recording solutions on the Mac platform but most of them require a financial investment! Any Screen Record Pro from DFAV TEAM is currently free in the Mac App Store and is a handy app for your toolkit.
Capable of capturing both still images and video Any Screen Record Pro sports a simple control panel that provides access to all the main features of the app.
In terms of video capture the most important option is the “Video Format” and here two options are provided, Animation Quality-High and H264 Quality-Medium (iTunes). The “Animation Quality-High” option provides the ability to capture full quality video perfect for subsequent post production editing while the “H264 Quality-Medium (iTunes)” creates video in a compressed format ready for distribution.
The video capture is flexible enough to record either the full screen or a user specified part of it via a resizable frame.
Audio can be recorded from any attached device or the system audio itself can be captured.
